Scope: Installation of flue gas desulfurization plant. Prime contractor for installation after building shell completed, fabricated and installed ductwork (400 ton) for both units for absorber inlet and outlet to stack as building was erected, installed over 30,000 feet of mechanical piping varying in size up to 24" OD. (Piping Materials - carbon steel welded and screwed, PVC, CPVC, rubber lined, reinforced plastic, hastelloy, and stainless steel). Set and aligned all process pumps, tanks and equipment, field fabricated tanks, installed all insulation and lagging, all internal headers, demisters, turning vanes, etc. in absorbers.

Installed new boiler setting - includes gas tight corten furnace casing door and soot blower settings, penthouse and convection area. All insulation and external corrugated aluminum casing ( original boiler design was refractory insulation and mastic setting). Replaced low temperature superheater, scaffold boiler furnace, rebuild burners, rebuild I.D. fan housings, install new wheels and shafts, insulate turbine.
